The ADN8833ACBZ-R7 is a high-performance, monolithic H-bridge TEC (Thermoelectric Cooler) driver with integrated 1A power MOSFETs. It combines a linear power stage with a linear driver (LDR) output and a pulse-width modulation (PWM) power stage with an SW output. This device is designed to stabilize the temperature of a laser diode or a passive component attached to the TEC module to a programmed target temperature by driving current through the TEC based on the control voltage at the CONT input.
The ADN8833ACBZ-R7 features a patented high-efficiency single inductor architecture and integrated low RDSON MOSFETs for the TEC driver. It offers TEC voltage and current operation monitoring without the need for an external sense resistor. The device also provides independent TEC heating and cooling current limit settings and a programmable maximum TEC voltage.
The PWM switching frequency of the ADN8833ACBZ-R7 is 2 MHz, and it supports external synchronization. The device is compatible with digital thermal control loops and features a 2.50 V reference output with 1% accuracy.
